There have been a lot of great comebacks that we have seen in this Clay season so far. The return of the two big Spaniards Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal was one of them. We can say this has been the time when the comebacks of some big players have made this season interesting. The moments of these comebacks is something which has made the world of sports one of the most unpredictable moments.

Andy Murray is regarded as one of the best players in the UK and was a former world number 1 in the mid-2010's. Murray was comfortably one of the iconic players in his prime winning 3 grand slams that include 2 Wimbledons and a US Open. However, right now it has not been a great period for the player as he is now currently ranked 57 in ATP and has not been winning a lot of titles. This season Murray has been missing a lot of the ATP tour due to his ankle injury in the Miami Open. It looked like Murray might miss the whole Clay season.

Andy is back

While we all thought that Murray would be done this season, we have seen Andy Murray practising and teasing a comeback, however, he has already withdrawn from major tournaments already which made it look difficult. Murray has put these claims to rest as he has currently got a wild card entry into the upcoming Geneva Open which will be starting on the 18th of May. This is definitely one of the comeback call-ups no one expected, but it turns out we will see the British Superstar finally make a return on clay and we all will be looking forward to it.

Though it is only an ATP 250 tournament it will still be great to see Murray make his long-awaited comeback and show that he still has a lot left in his body to give another great performance. Everyone will be looking forward to seeing the 36-year-old play and most likely also see him in the French Open as well. It will be great to see Andy Murray who we all thought might not make it due to his devastating injury, but has proved everyone wrong this time.
