The Clay Season is still going on and it has given us a lot of great matches and tournaments. There have been many iconic returns from some players which have excited the fans in tournaments played on the toughest surfaces in the world of Tennis. With this ATP tour going on one of the biggest tournaments has been the ATP 1000's. These are some of the toughest tournaments featuring some of the best players in the world. 

There might be many players who have won these tournaments, but there are only a few players who have multiple ATP 1000 clay titles. This is where we will be talking about some of these iconic players who have achieved this feat right now. We have seen one of the greatest comebacks in the season by Andrey Rublev who has won his first ATP title this season after having a terrible start to his ATP tour and has become one of the players to achieve a victory in multiple Clay ATP 1000 titles.

So, here are the players with multiple Clay ATP Masters 1000 titles we all know:

5. Andrey Rublev ( 1 Monte Carlo and 1 Madrid Open)

Who would have thought that this would be the season Andrey Rublev would achieve this great feat since he was having a terrible season which also included 4 consecutive losses? The win at the Madrid Open will give him a lot of confidence as nobody saw this happening for the Russian. Before this, he had also won the Monte Carlo Masters last season as well and is now the fifth player to achieve multiple titles on Clay.

4. Andy Murray ( 2 Madrid Open and 1 Italian Open)

Andy Murray was one of the upcoming stars in the game making him one of the iconic players we all know. This was also the time when he proved that he could still win on clay with his accuracy and counter-punching style. Murray went on to win 2 Madrid Opens in 2008 and 2015 and won at Rome the following season. These were the moments that established him as one of the top contenders in the game.

Alexander Zverev came onto the scene after winning the Gold Medal at the Tokyo Olympics. The 25-year-old German is currently one of the top 5 players in the ATP rankings and has been making a lot of strides in the game. Zverev went on to win 2 Madrid Open titles in 2018 and 2021 beating some experienced players Dominic Thiem and Matteo Berretini. With this, he also became one of the youngest players to win multip Clay 1000 titles and establish himself as top top-ranked player.

If it comes to winning titles no one does it better than Novak Djokovic who is still the number 1 ranked tennis player in the world. Djokovic was the most competitive Tennis player in the Clay tournaments especially against Rafael Nadal who he has had some great rivalries against. Djokovic has gone on to win 6 Italian Open titles, 3 Madrid Opens and 2 Monte Carlo Masters. This shows the class and consistency of the Serbian giant in the game.

There is no surprise that Rafael Nadal has made this list since a clay tournament victory can never escape the grasp of the King of Clay himself. Almost all the clay tournaments have been dominated by Nadal, especially the ATP 1000 titles. Nadal has won 11 Monte Carlo Titles, 10 Italian Open titles and 5 Madrid Open titles. No one has come close to El Nino's triumph on the clay surface and he has enjoyed some of the best winning streaks in these tournaments as well.
