Tennis star Marta Kostyuk beats Qinwen Zheng, sets to face Coco Gauff in Stuttgart quarterfinals

Tennis star Marta Kostyuk has produced one of the strongest performances against Qinwen Zheng during the Stuttgart Open 2024. Notably, the Ukrainian went on to show her best performance on the court despite her recent injury setbacks, resulting in walkovers. She beat the Chinese 6-2, 4-6, and 7-5 to make her way to the quarterfinals.

"Did not believe I could win this match. (It was) super close, and hardcore. All the match points were incredible rallies. So.. I don't know I think maybe I deserved it a little bit (laughs)… I don’t know.  said Marta Kostyuk in the post-match interview.
