Rafael Nadal is no doubt one of the most legendary figures in tennis which all of us have witnessed on the court. Nadal has achieved everything that a player can only dream about and has one of the most decorated careers in the game with over 92 career titles and 22 grand slams. The Spaniard had made a return to the game in the Barcelona Open where he went out in the 3rd round of the topurnament.

Rafael Nadal recently played in Madrid and went till the fourth round and got eliminated by Jiri Lehecka. This has so far been a very slow return for the King of Clay who is known to dominate this season with some big wins. The fans are waiting for El Nino to win a title in what is his last season this year. Nadal has made himself availbale for Rome and this is another tournament where he has achieved a lot of success.

Nadal draw for Italian Open

With the tournament coming up the draw for Nadal has already been announced as well and there is a lot of people who have given their opinion on it. Since Nadal is a unseeded player he will not get a bye and will start his competition from round 1 itself and will be playing a qualifier. The 2nd round will see nadal come up against the likes of Hubert Hurkacz if gets to round 1 of the match. All together it looks like a much tougher draft for Nadal where in the 2nd round itself will be a top 10 ranked player. Apart from Hurkacz there are further higher seeded players that also feature in this draw.

It will be ineteresting to see how Nadal will be approaching this draw of players who are not going to make it easy for the former world number 1. Nadal will have a lot of work to do to have a chance to win this tournament and announce himself in this Clay Seasons. This will be a test for the returning King Of Clay to see if he still has it in him to win a title just before the Grand Slam and win in Rome for the 11th time.
