Charly Arnolt scripted history in the latest UFC night. The former WWE employee became the first female announcer in the history of UFC. It happened out of nowhere and almost nobody anticipated it. At UFC Vegas 91, Joe Martinez, the regular announcer, fell ill and had to stay out for a bit of time. That was when Arnolt came in as his replacement as an announcer.

Charly announced the result of the flyweight match between Karine De Silva and Ariane De Silva. She later on announced the co-main event of the night between Ryan Spann and Bogdan Guskov. After the announcement, Martinez reassumed his role in the Octagon. A fan on social media noted that Charly became the first-ever female announcer in the history of UFC.

Taking to social media platforms, the fan wrote "Charly Arnolt just became the first female Octagon announcer in UFC history." Later in the night, Charly replied to the post saying "This just happened!! What a cool night." When she was in WWE as a backstage interviewer Arnolt had a good presence among the Superstars. She had a faceoff with Zelina Vega while programming in the biggest Wrestling company.

'We do need a Charly versus Zelina' - Charly Arnolt

In one of the interactions on social media, Charly was asked about a potential feud with a WWE Superstar. She felt that a match against Zelina was a missed opportunity when she was in the company. "We do need a Charly versus Zelina [Vega] match one day. That’s still — you know what? There were so many missed opportunities," said Arnolt in the conversation.

Vega is currently a part of LWO and has been a part of the feud against Elektra Lopez. Charly was a backstage interviewer in WWE for many years. As she left the job a few years back, many new faces joined the company. The 36-year-old then worked as a host for Outkick and as an outscreen contributor for Fox News. It is to be seen if she returns for the promotion of WWE anywhere in the future.
