The former WWE Superstar and a member of the Bloodline spoke about Roman Reigns' influence on WWE in recent times. Rikishi was in an interview where he was asked about the absence of Roman on Smackdown for a long time. in the latest episode of Smackdown, as Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga cut a promo, the crowd started chanting 'We want Roman'.

It is evident that the WWE universe is acknowledging its Tribal Chief for the efforts he put into the character. After WrestleMania XL, Roman has been out of action. He is reportedly in Hollywood sets for a shoot. Speaking about his absence in Smackdown, Rikishi felt that the fans started to realize the value of something they did not know only after he disappeared.

Rikishi referred to Roman as the cat. "Well, let's be realistic Joey, let's be realistic. As soon as the man, the GOAT, Roman Reigns disappeared after WrestleMania, you know, it went from the fans not liking this cat, to now the fans missing this cat," said Rikishi to the host. The former WWE Superstar added that the fans realize the burden Roman had to carry in the last 4-5 years.

Fans realize the value of Roman after he's gone - Rikishi

On the show, the father of the Usos added that the fans realized the worth of Roman after WrestleMania XL. Rikishi added that the fans understood the work behind building the character, body, time, soul, mind, and everything else that made the Tribal Chief an icon in the company. The former WWE Superstar felt that Roman deserved the appreciation for his contribution as the Tribal Chief.

Because now the fans have turned their emotions into something real as far as when they put up all the accolades of what Roman has done for the past four, or however many years, they grew with him. They notice, and they realize how much character, mind, body, soul, time, his sacrifice, he has given to the WWE and the fans," added Rikishi in the interview.
