NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi spoke highly of WWE in a recent interview. Tanahashi was in a hall where several other wrestling personalities were present. The host asked Hiroshi about WWE and one quality that he likes about the Stanford-based company.

The president of NJPW envied the company and claimed that it is one of a kind in the world of Pro Wrestling. Hiroshi was in awe of WWE and the preferences it gives for both men's and women's divisions. Over the years, the women's division has come a long way in WWE. In 2019, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey main-evented WrestleMania and scripted history.

Likewise, Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks main-evented Wrestlemania as the first pair of black women. Hiroshi claimed that the women's division in WWE is like nothing elsewhere in pro wrestling. He also felt that the wrestlers get a fair chance to become stars irrespective of their age.

'I do feel envious of that' - Hiroshi Tanahashi

"I guess one thing that is helpful is that it’s open to both men and women, regardless of age," said Hiroshi in the interview. He felt that there was no shortage of talent in WWE. It is a well-established pro Wrestling company. From NJPW, they got their recent recruit named Giuilia who is likely to make her NXT debut soon.

The NJPW President claimed that the rate at which WWE creates Superstars is totally different in what time frame other Wrestling companies like NJPW themselves and others in Japan manage to do in regards to their promotions. Tanahashi claimed that he is envious of this particular quality of WWE and hoped to do the same in NJPW.

"Also, the speed at which star wrestlers keep coming out, the speed of this turnover. This is again, a little bit different from the way it is done with Japanese promotions. Well, I do feel envious of that," added Tanahashi in the statement. NJPW is one of the leading Pro wrestling companies in the world. It is the biggest Pro wrestling company in Asia and aims to conquer the globe.
