Randy Orton went back in memory lane and pointed out one of his old tweets which was posted in 2011. The Viper took to X and claimed that he called it right back in time. The tweet was about Cody Rhodes and his improvement as a wrestler. From the days of his tag team with Daivari and later on with Randy Orton and Ted Debiase, Cody improved massively as a wrestler.

In the days to come, Rhodes had several gimmicks like Stardust on WWE. He later moved to AEW and played a crucial role in its formation and became a different wrestler. Upon returning to WWE in 2022, Cody was an established star. However, Randy had seen the spark in Dusty Rhodes' son and made an early prediction back in 2011. Orton spoke highly of Cody in 2011.

The 14-time world champion tagged a person named Duke Punk and wrote that Cody improved 10 times since the last time ha he had met him. He then claimed Rhodes as a future world champion. "@DukePunk Cody Rhodes has improved 10 times since the last time I've been in the ring with him. Yes, I see him as a future World Champion," wrote Orton on X.

Cody Rhodes finishes story in WrestleMania XL

Recalling the past tweet, Randy took to X and wrote "Called it," as he flexed his prediction on the American Nightmare. It is worth noting that Cody won his maiden WWE world title in WrestleMania XL. His road to the title reign was claimed to be "Finishing the story" as none of his family members were able to win the world title. The brother and father of Cody have been wrestlers.

Dusty Rhodes, the father of Cody, and Dustin Rhodes, the brother of Rhodes, failed to win the world title. The question was if Cody could do what none in his family could. The American Nightmare indeed proved himself to be a contender for the world title by winning back-to-back Royal Rumbles in 2023 and 2024. Cody finished his story in WrestleMania XL.
