Rikishi opened up about the WrestleMania XL Night one match between two of his sons. Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso became only the third pair of brothers to face each other in WrestleMania after the brother duo of Bret Hart, Owen Hart, and Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy. The father of Jey and Jimmy mentioned his happiness about their highlight in WrestleMania XL.

Speaking about the match in a recent interview, Rikishi congratulated his sons for the achievement. He felt that the match was good, unlike the popular opinions of fans and experts. But he did acknowledge that something was missing in the match. Rikishi felt that he was being missed in the match. The former world champion wished to be a part of the same stage as his sons were.

He felt that a father being a part of the match between two of his sons would have spiced up the match. Rikishi accepted that he was not the one to make calls but claimed that everyone knew he was close to Philadelphia ahead of the match between his twin sons. Rikishi claimed that he did not get a call from the company to be a part of the match.

'I could have just been part of the commentary' - Rikishi

The father of Usos wished to be a part of the match in some capacity after watching it on TV. He felt that being a special guest referee would have been fitting for the match. Rikishi felt that being a manager was impossible as it would mean biasedness on one side. He added that even being a part of the commentary would have been good for the match.

"After watching the match, maybe…what would be right for me to be a special guest referee? That’s what I felt. I couldn’t be a manager because then it would show favour, which side I’m leaning to. Or I could have just been part of the commentary for that one match if they’d seen fit," said Rikishi. Younger Uso emerged victorious in the match.
