Maxwell played for the same team in 2019 T20 Vitality Blast. The right-hander was one of the top formers for Lancashire in the previous edition as he scored 305 runs in 11 games at a strike rate of 150.31 with the help of three sublime fifties. However, his side failed to qualify into semi-finals as they lost a crucial quarter-final.
It looks like the team management was quite impressed with his performances due to which they have included him in their ranks once again for the upcoming edition.
